Eyelet Rods and Full Ring Rods will not be supplied bent

Bends / Mitres / Corners

Mitred corners will be charged at $50.00 per corner, per single installation, $100 per corner for double tracks.

Bends are charged per track so a Bend1 on a Double installation eg. set 9 would be $32.00 for the front track + $32.00 for the back track

Reverse bends:

May require longer Brackets so that rod, track and drapes will clear the wall - see pics.

Bend Information

Cord drawn curtains on bent or curved tracks will be more difficult to operate: The friction of the cords on the aluminium as they pass around a bend or against the full length of a curve can a have a significant effect.

For this reason we advise against cording on anything but straight tracks. At the very least, end users should be advised that operating the curtain will require more effort and the control end will require very secure fixing for the Brackets.

Drape widths when fitting to Bent Rods or Tracks

Except in the case of reverse bends the total length of the Rod or Track will be shorter than the wall measurement. Curtain makers may wish to compensate for this by reducing the finished width of drapes. This is espcially useful when using inverted pleat headings that need to sit flat when the curtain is drawn, or when there is not a great deal of room to stack the opened curtain off the window. 

The following are “rule of thumb” measurements for calculating how much less curtain width would be needed for different bracket sizes and bend angles.

These measurements are appropriate to Track Magic bend formers and may not be relevant to other brands.
