Niche (Recessed) Track - Installation
Designed for use with 13mm plasterboard

The track is supplied assembled and predrilled at every 500mm. It is drilled with a 4mm hole in the base of the extrusion where the Track is to be screwed to the supports or ceiling battens. |
If you have to drill the holes on site for any reason please make sure that the glide channel is not damaged. The Extrusion is supplied 12mm shorter on each end than given measurement so that when end caps are removed and glides may be added or taken out.
| Please Note: The end cap screws protrude through the extrusion and may prevent the track sitting flush up to a ceiling batten. Unscrew the end cap enough for the track to push into position and then re-tighten - It is always preferable for the screw to penetrate into wood rather than just through the extrusion. |

If the track needs to be cut shorter for some reason then the end cap may be replaced at the new end by placing it on the track as shown below and drilling a 3mm hole using the cap as the drill guide. The cap is then returned to the correct way round and screwed into position.
